Making a change can be hard due to depression (low self-esteem, low energy), anxiety (fearfulness, lack of confidence), substance abuse (self-medicating, numbing out to escape), challenging childhoods (dysfunctional parents, overwhelmed by the tasks of adulthood), trauma (experiencing painful debilitating flashbacks, avoiding reminders), anger management (frustration, outbursts, conflicts), or any combination of those issues.
I have over ten years experience working with adults and college students struggling with these issues and other life stressors. I believe that a positive, trusting, and supportive therapeutic relationship can create a foundation for courageous change and movement forward.
I studied at Lesley College and obtained my Master's degree in Counseling in 2007 and I have been practicing in the mental health field for over ten years. Our group of clinicians are the best group I have had the opportunity of working with. Grove Counseling Services offers an excellent atmosphere to excel as a clinician. This, then allows me to provide excellent care for my clients.
I look forward to hearing from you so that we can start on the road towards change.
