Life is a constant state of transition and at times, we can struggle to adapt and roll with what life is handing us. Maybe your struggling to maintain balance in your life, working on strengthening a relationship, or your on a journey to find purpose and passion. Many that suffer with anxiety, depression, or emotional distress benefit from a safe, confidential, andnon-judgmental space to break through ineffective patterns of behavior and thinking that limits our success. I utilize a collaborative approach with my clients to promote healing, self regulation techniques, and stimulate personal growth and goal attainment. You’ll increase your confidence, performance, and ability to manage stress in your life, by fostering motivation and resiliency. I facilitate individual, family and couples therapy modalities to transform and shift ways of thinking and behaving. I am a multicultural psychotherapist who practices CBT, DBT, Trauma Informed care, Psychoeducation, Systems Focused family work, and other forms of evidenced based practices. My experience with adolescents and families enables me to assist parents in increasing effective communication, managing challenging behaviors and emotions, and gaining support and useful resources.
I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from Boston College. I graduated from Columbia University with my Master’s in Social Work with a Clinical focus, with a minor in Children and Families. I’m licensed in Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20+ years experience working with age 12-70. I have held positions in both NYC and Worcester, in both inpatient and outpatient settings, acute and long term treatment settings. I’ve collaborated with DMH, DCF, and DYS treatment programs for adolescents and adults. I am also a member of National Association of Social Workers.
